The most important but very basic technique in achieving pure flawless skin is using organic beauty products for your skin care. You should be aware of the effects of using synthetic products on your skin and the benefits that you get from using organic skin care products.

The human body is amazing but a bit complicated system that could empower self-regeneration with a little help from medical science. You can naturally maintain and enhance the beauty of the human body by first taking care of your skin using organic skin care products without harmful ingredients.

Most people try to achieve smoother glowing skin that looks fresh and spotless. No matter what you think and what it takes, it is never too late to attempt to have a sexy silky smooth glowing skin. However, most people are reactive when it comes to skin care than being proactive. They tend to choose and enjoy quick results in fighting skin imbalance for convenience. They would rather hide imperfections with cosmetics than scrubbing with sea salt and massaging with virgin olive oil.

The problem with skin care and maintaining smooth glowing skin is time. You really need to devote time to maintain a youthful looking skin. Organic skin care is the best way to nourish your skin and save your time. There are many organic skin care products in the internet that you can order for delivery. Save time and give less effort maintaining a young looking smooth glowing skin – use organic skin care!

The Egyptian fennel with rosemary and mint face cream is a good organic moisturizer that contains natural ingredients such as evening primrose oil, shea butter, and rice bran extract. The evening primrose oil contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which is one type of fatty acid needed by your body for treating and preventing eczema and other itchy or scaly skin allergies. This is easy to apply and does not involve much time for the application.

Every single human being has to face the HAİR REMAVAL process from time to time. While it’s just simple routine for some, others have to cope with a number of problems while dealing with it. No matter to which of the above you belong, you can always improve your skills in hair removal.

Hair removal may be classified by different criterions, for example, location (facial, body, bikini), removal type (waxing, shaving, plucking) or by type of hair (vellum or terminal). Knowing what type of hair you will be removing will help you choose the way of performing the procedure.

Vellum hair is soft, fine and short. This type of hair usually appears on women back, chest or face and they are so small that the removal is only optional, unless you have a darker complexion, which can make them more visible. Terminal hair is coarser, darker and longer. It’s the hair that grows on your head, legs, armpits and bikini zone.

Laser hair removal, plucking or waxing is the most recommended methods for vellum hair removal. It might be more painful, but the effect will last longer and hair won’t get thicker (the effect shaving causes).

Terminal hair can be removed by using such methods as shaving, plucking, depilatories, waxing, electrolysis, laser and prescription treatment. The choice of methods depends on your ability to deal with pain, area you want to clean and your financial capabilities.

Shaving is cheap and won’t cause you any pain. Yet the effect won’t last so long (1 to 3 days) and you’ll have to do it again and again. It is very comfortable in a way that you do not have to make any appointments with anybody. The major drawback is that you can’t shave them until they reach a certain length.

Plucking lasts long (from 3 to 8 weeks), yet it’s really painful and takes time. As far as you can pluck only one hair at a time removing hair from your legs would probably take a whole day. Plucking is recommended on small areas such as eyebrows, upper lip and chin.

Depilatories are inexpensive and won’t cause you any pain. The effect lasts from several days to two weeks. They can be used on any area, yet you have to be very careful when purchasing one, because it usually has a lot of chemical components. It’s not recommended for people who have sensitive skin.

Waxing is probably the most painful method of hair removal, however, the effect is long lasting (from 3 to 6 weeks). For some people it may cause skin redness, inflammation and bumps, yet these effects will not take long to disappear, leaving smooth skin.

Electrolysis is permanent, yet it takes time for you to see the actual effect and you have to make appointments for that. It’s usually used only for small areas such as upper lip, eyebrows and underarms. The procedure is painful and may cause dry skin, scabs, scarring and inflammation. Also, electrolysis is expensive, being the only permanent hair removal method.

Laser hair removal is expensive and painless, with the effect lasting for about 6 months. The thing with laser hair removal is that your skin has to be light and the hair dark if you want to use this method. Before mak…

Summer is the time when you have to take special care of your beauty. Sea/pool water and too much time spent on sun can seriously damage your hair and skin, but proper care can make you shine naturally. The same rules apply to makeup and wardrobe. Perfect make-up can easily melt away so why don’t you show your natural beauty? There are many tricks that are helpful for looking good in summer. Although only a few weeks of summer are still in front of us, these beauty tips will help you look great and restore damage of improper body care.

If you start your day by putting on a thick layer of makeup, abandon this habit for summer days. Use as little makeup as possible, because even if you use much of it, it will melt away. Skin pores can get blocked easily by sweat and dusts and other dirt during hot days and a layer of make-up makes it only worse. Let your skin breathe!

Make up helps us to highlight our beauty and hide imperfections; there’s no need to put all the make-up means away while it’s summer. However, make-up foundation is one thing that you should forget till the autumn comes. If you can’t live without it, replace it with tinted moisturizer. It is capable of hiding small skin flaws, but it is much lighter than a foundation and it doesn’t feel like something stuck on your face.

Dare to wear bold make-up colors, but keep those light: dark dramatic eye makeup may look like black eye if you choose a wrong occasion to wear it. However, your fingernails and especially toenails are different talk! Choose juicy colored nail polish and stun everyone! Remember to take care of your feet and hands before putting the nail polish on. Well groomed nails with fun color manicure and pedicure attract the attention easily while untidy nails attract attention as well but not in a way you should be cheerful about.

Waterproof cosmetics are great salvation for summer make up. This doesn’t mean you have to pack your regular cosmetics and put it away till the summer ends, but if you’re buying new makeup means, think waterproof. Waterproof cosmetics should be your best friend for hot weather; especially if you’re into dark colors. Otherwise you may look like a raccoon when great makeup smudges around your eyes. Choose bronzer for evening and blush anytime to create an image of sun-kissed cheeks.

Aromatherapy is known as the use of highly concentrated extracts of trees, plants, herbs and flowers in order to promote health and well-being. These extracts, which are known as pure essential oils, hold many healing properties and can be used pharmacologically, physiologically and psychologically.

The art of aromatheraphy was used by the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Today essential oils can be found in a variety of natural products, including cosmetics, massage oils, skin care products, bath blends, perfumes, soaps and toothpaste. Essiantial oils make these every day items extraordinary.

A thousand years ago it was discovered how powerful essential oils are. On average, essential oils have one hundred components each, and some may contain many more. These varied components are what make the oils so useful in healing and perfuming.

Aromatherapy can be described as a healer of the body and the soul. Essential oils can be antiviral, antiseptic, sedating, uplifting, detoxifying, digestive, stimulating, bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, or vulnerary. This makes aromatherapy helpful for numerous ailments, cuts, scrapes, insect bites, skin conditions, emotional woes, and even captivating a lover.

In addition to essential oils, aromatherapy encourages the use of other complementary natural ingredients including cold pressed vegetable oils, jojoba, hydrosols, herbs, milk powders, sea salts, clays and muds. We will provide several examples of aromatic botanicals, which benefit well – being of our skin. They include Lavender (etc. normalizes any skin type and stimulates cellular regeneration), Sandalwood (etc. anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, antiseptic and anti-aging), Geranium (etc. calming, refreshing, mildly tonic and astringent), Ylang Ylang (etc. softens, smoothes, balances skin and reduces oiliness), Patchouli (etc. decongestive, astringent, reduces redness), Cedarwood (etc. sedative, astringent properties; reduces skin eruptions and itchiness), Palmarosa (etc. immediately calms and refreshes skin; strong anti-aging properties) or Green Tea Extract (etc. rich in anti-oxidants, reduces under eye puffiness, antibacterial).

Introducing essential oils into our lifestyle can be quite easy, fun, and therapeutically beneficial. Next to the beneficial herbal skin care products, there are more ways which you are invited to try. They include room freshening, bug repellent, massage, bath or inhalation.

Considering all mentioned above, aromatherapy is the practice of using volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being. It works through our nose (etc. inhalation method) and our…

Every woman needs some makeup. Some manage with very little makeup while others need as much as possible and can’t live without it. They need makeup to look good. There are a number of makeup products that are vital during the summer months.

Moisturizer

Low levels of humidity and high levels of sunlight can cause damage to the skin. That is why a good moisturizer is the most vital item in your possession. A good moisturizer that contains an agent to protect your skin from the sun is important for people with fair skin.

People like to tan their skin but should remember that it is important to protect your skin from harmful sunrays. Your makeup base should include an SPF element.

Scrub

Use a grained scrub that is pleasantly scented instead of soap to achieve great results quickly. A scrub removes impurities and dead skin cells. They make you feel fresh all day long. It is essential for the summer season.

Nail polish

Most women like to show off their feet in sandals and beach slippers during the summer. They prefer to paint their toenails with shades of purple, red or tangerine. Bright colors attract attention and it is important to take care of feet as you do any of other part of your body.

Make Up

It is suggested that lighter makeup be worn during the summer season. Evening makeup can be bright and gives a glow to the face.

Heat and excess sweating during the summer can smudge your makeup or cause it to wear away. It is important to use waterproof mascara on the eyelashes.

Even when you swim or walk in the rain, waterproof mascara keeps your lashes impressive looking. Waterproof eyeliners and eye shadows will also keep the color on your eyelids.

Lip balms and gloss

Lip balms with an SPF are recommended rather than lipstick. If looking for a little glow on the lips use a light pink or soft bronze lip gloss. For evening makeup use deeper colors such as reds, gold and berry pink.

Bronzing powder

Give a little bit of shimmer to your skin with a bronzing powder. It works well for summer evening parties. To complete your makeup, use a refined bronzer on the shoulders, back and cleavage.

If you wear makeup, you need to know how to clean makeup brushes. If you don’t clean your make up brushes, you’ll either wind up spoiling them and throwing them away, or they will mess up your clean, fresh look by changing the colors of your makeup.

Cleaning makeup brushes is a necessity. Each time you use a makeup brush, it picks up both makeup and any natural oils on your face, as well as any other products that are on your face.

Makeup brushes come in all sorts of materials, with the cheapest usually being made of sponge or plastic and the most expensive some sort of animal hair.

High quality natural hair brushes used by professional models and painters are made of sable, and if you want a particular brush shape in an excellent quality brush, you can find them at art supply stores. Badger fur, pony hair and even squirrel hair are also used to make brushes.

Then there is the dust in the air that just lands on a resting brush. Bacteria can make a home in dirty makeup brushes, so this buildup must be removed on a regular basis.

The most common method for how to clean makeup brushes include taking each brush and run it under warm water, and then apply a small amount of shampoo – you might want to use baby shampoo as this is extra sensitive, and gently rub until you have a soft lather.

After a few minutes, run each brush under the cold tap and rub the bristles to get rid of the soap. When the water runs clear and isn’t colored from makeup, then you know the brushes are clean.

In order to know how to clean makeup brushes by a dry clean method then fill a plastic bag with corn starch (make sure it’s the sugar and preservative-free kind) and drop the brush inside (hair down) and hold the mouth of the bag closed.

Shake for one minute and then remove the brush and then dust off the corn starch and repeat two more times until the entire greasy residue is gone.

Hair mask s are great for improving condition but some of them can be quite expensive. Why not try making your own? The biggest advantage is that your mask won’t have any chemicals so it will really help your hair. You may already have most of the ingredients in your home so you can always whip one up for an emergency conditioning session! And it’s fun! Give it a try – but be warned, it’s addictive!

Here are some lovely hair mask recipes – have fun!

Rescue masks for dry, damaged hair
You can also use these if your hair isn’t in bad condition but just needs a boost. Leave them in for the minimum time.

Coconut cream mask
Soften a large chunk of coconut cream in your hands and massage into hair. Wrap your head in a warm towel and leave it on for an hour. Wash out with a gentle shampoo.

Egg mask
Beat two full eggs with 2 tablespoons of water. Apply to clean, damp hair, massaging in well. Leave for 10 – 15 minutes and then wash out with mild shampoo.

Banana smoothie for hair – not for drinking!

Mix 1 mashed banana, 1 full egg, 3 tablespoons of honey, 3 tablespoons of milk and 5 tablespoons of olive oil. Make sure it’s well combined and then apply to hair. Leave for 15 – 30 minutes and wash out with a gentle shampoo.

Yogurt hair mask
Separate an egg and beat the white until it’s foamy. Mix with 6 tablespoons of natural yogurt. Massage into the hair and leave for 15 – 30 minutes. Wash out with a very mild shampoo.

Avocado hair mask
Mash the flesh of one ripe avocado. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix until creamy and then apply to your hair. Leave for 20 minutes and then wash out with a gentle shampoo.

Olive oil hair mask
Whisk up 5 tablespoons of olive oil – it doesn’t matter which sort – with 2 full eggs. Massage thoroughly into your hair and then cover it with plastic wrap or a shower hat. Your body heat will help the oil to penetrate. Leave for a minimum of 30 minutes and then shampoo out, rinsing well.

Honey and olive oil mask
Mix 3 tablespoons of olive oil with 2 tablespoons of honey. Apply to your hair and wrap your head in plastic film or put on a shower hat. Leave for at least 30 minutes and then shampoo as usual, rinsing well.

Banana and almond mask for dry, damaged hair
Mash a ripe banana and add a few drops of almond oil. Mix well and massage into your hair. Leave for 15 – 30 minutes. Wash out with gentle shampoo.

Milk and honey mask
Mix a tablespoon of honey in half a cup of full fat milk. Apply to your hair and leave for 15 minutes. Wash out with a mild shampoo.

Masks to help get rid of dandruff

Fenugreek mask
Soak a handful of fenugreek seeds overnight in just enough water to cover them. In the morning, grind the seeds in the water to make a paste. Apply to your hair and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Wash it out using a mild shampoo.

Thyme hair rinse
Put 7 heaped tablespoons of dried thyme into 2 cups of water and boil the mixture for 10 minutes. Your kitchen will smell heavenly! Strain the mixture and leave it to cool. Lean over a bowl and pour half of the solution onto clean, damp hair. Keep scooping it out of the bowl and re-applying until all your hair is well soaked. Don’t rinse or wash out. Keep the other half of the solution for another treatment!

Rinse for blondes
Add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice to a pint of water and use as a rinse after shampooing.

Rinse for brunettes and redheads
Add a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a pint of water and use as a rinse after shampooing.

Orange musk rinse for shiny hair
Mix the juice of a fresh orange with 1 tablespoon of honey and 5 – 7 drops of sandalwood oil. Dilute with enough water to make a rinse – about a pint – and mix thoroughly. Use after shampoo and then rinse out.

Honey shine rinse
Mix 1 teaspoon of honey into 4 cups of warm water. Make sure it’s well dissolved. Use as a rinse after shampooing and don’t wash out. Dry as normal for a great shine!

Be prepared!
These are quick, easy and fun to make – and they’re great for your hair! Once you’ve found a few favorites, keep the ingredients in your store cupboard so you can indulge in one up whenever you want!

Celebrities change their hair color overnight and give the impression that it’s easy! It is – if you’ve got a personal hairdresser on your speed dial. When it comes to coloring your hair at home, there doesn’t seem to be any middle ground. It’s either a resounding success or the end of the world!

However, many people do color their hair at home – very successfully! Here’s a guide to help you do it too!

How long and how strong?

The first thing you need to decide is how long you want your new color to last for. The length of time a color lasts depends on how it works on your hair. Check out this p/st of home hair color products to help you decide.

Who Knew? A human hair has three layers. The very inner core is called the medulla. This is surrounded by the second layer, the cortex. The outer layer is the cuticle.

Temporary Only lasts through 1 or 2 shampoos. This doesn’t usually contain peroxide or ammonia and works by coating the outside of the hair cuticle. It can’t take your hair p/ghter but can deepen, brighten or enhance your existing color.

Semi-Permanent This will last for between 4 and 6 shampoos. p/ke temporary color, it’s usually free of peroxide and ammonia. It coats the outside of the hair cuticle and penetrates the next layer. If your hair is dry or damaged, it may last longer as your hair is more porous.

Demi-Permanent This will see you through up to 20 shampoos. The color takes between the cuticle and cortex. These colors often contain some peroxide and ammonia.

These first three are generally considered ‘safe’ to use at home and are a good starter if you’ve never colored your hair before. You can also use a semi permanent color to see if you p/ke it before taking the plunge into permanent!

Permanent This color stays until it grows out, is cut off or covered with another color. These always contain peroxide and ammonia. The cuticle is opened by the chemicals and the color goes into the cortex.

Highp/ghts These are permanent and contain peroxide, ammonia and often, bleach. They take color from the cortex.

Double Process Color The cuticle is chemically opened and the hair is p/ghtened 4 – 6 levels using peroxide, ammonia and bleach. Then a new color is put in through the cuticle into the cortex.

Choosing your new color

This is the exciting bit but don’t get too carried away. Styp/sts say that most home hair color disasters happen when the color has been bought on impulse! It’s a good idea to stay within 1 or 2 shades (darker or p/ghter) of your natural color. You also need to consider your skin tone and age.

Ready to change color?

If you use a lot of products on your hair, wash it with a build-up remover shampoo one week before coloring. This will help the dye to take

Do a patch test 48 hours prior to coloring. Follow the instructions on the box. Don’t skip this, it could save you a nasty allergic problem!

Shampoo and condition your hair in the usual way, the day before applying your new color

Choose a time when you won’t be disturbed and can relax and take your time. Let the phone ring and don’t answer the door. This is your time!

Put on your old t-shirt, gather your old towels and make sure that you have everything you need before you start

Read the instructions on the box. I know you’ve probably read them a few times but read them again – just to be sure!

Apply some petroleum jelly all around your hairp/ne. Don’t get it on the roots or the color won’t take. This is to protect your skin from excess dye drips and make clean-up easier

If your hair is very thick, section it off with the butterfly cp/ps. This will help you to get it right down to the roots and spread evenly. (Remove the cp/ps once all the dye is on and massage it in thoroughly)

Mix up the dye according to the instructions on the box

Stylists advise that you should start by putting the color on the back of your head and then work your way forward. This makes it easier to apply the color evenly

Apply the color from the roots to the ends of your hair

Once the dye is all on, check the time so that you don’t ‘over cook!’ Leaving the color on your hair longer than the instructed time won’t make it any deeper. Hair color automatically stops processing after a set time and it won’t color beyond that time. That’s why it’s important to only mix it up as soon as you want to use it and not before – and to get it onto your hair without distractions

Dispose of any left over products and check for drips!

Once time’s up, shampoo according to the instructions and with the product provided

Don’t try this at home… if…

You want to go from any shade of dark hair to blonde. This can be a difficult color change and if the hairdresser runs into any problems, they’ll know how to fix it. You won’t!

If you have a lot of natural red tones in your hair – unless you are going red!

If your hair has been chemically colored or permed in the last month,

If you want a complicated look such as highlights and lowlights or blocks of color,

If you’ve previously had any sort of allergic reaction to hair colors.

For dry scalp, do not use products like Head and Shoulders which dry your scalp and hair even more compounding the problem and it can strip hair color as well. Avoid products that contain alcohol which are drying such as hairsprays or hair gels, or shampoos that contain a lot of detergent.

Shampoos that produce a lot of lather have a lot of detergent; less lather means less detergent. Some of the flaking may be product build up on your scalp so make sure you’re giving your scalp a good massage and use a clarifying shampoo, or massage in 1 part apple cider vinegar mixed with 2 parts water as a natural clarifier and style without rinsing.

If you see oily gray or yellow tiny balls that clump together, or very powdery, fine flaking, you may want to consult with your doctor first. If you have white flakes, large or fine, it’s usually dry scalp dandruff or product buildup and treatable yourself..

To treat dandruff yourself, try one or more of the following remedies…

1. Make strong tea from fresh or dried rosemary or thyme and let steep 24 hours. Use daily as hair rinse, massaging into scalp without rinsing out then style as usual.

2. Mix one part each apple cider vinegar, vodka, and water with a drop of tea tree oil. Apply to hair after shampooing and don’t rinse.

3. Massage aloe vera gel directly into scalp 15-30 minutes before washing your hair on a regular basis.

4. Massage baking soda into scalp or rinse hair daily in a cup of water with a tablet of Alka-Seltzer dissolved in it. This makes the scalp more alkaline which helps control dandruff.
